Winslow, AZ
Winslow (Navajo: Béésh Sinil or Béésinil) is a city in Navajo County, Arizona, United States (Map). According to 2005 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 9,931.
The nearby Meteor Crater, sometimes known as the Barringer Crater and
formerly as the Canyon Diablo crater, is a famous impact crater.
Winslow is also home to the 9-11 Remembrance Gardens, a memorial honoring those
who lost their lives during the September 11th terrorist attacks. The memorial
was constructed using two beams recovered from the wreckage of the World Trade
